Adding news to a Crunchbase profile

To add news to a Crunchbase profile, click the three-dot icon, and 'Edit' at the top right of the profile to begin.

Scroll to the News section and select Create New Press Reference.

This will open the add press reference window where you can enter the URL of the article you’d like to add to the profile.

Once you’ve entered the URL of the article, the news engine will automatically populate the required information to add the article to the profile. After the news engine is finished, click Add Press Reference.

You will then be taken to the Edit New News page where you can confirm if the listed information is correct in the Details section or tag any additional Crunchbase profiles under Mentions.

Once you are done filling out the Edit New News page, click Continue at the top right or bottom of the page. This will take you back to the main company edit page where you can continue making updates or click Save All Edits to finish adding the news article to the profile.

If you receive the following message when adding a news article to your company profile:

“The URL provided does not meet our approved list of domains. Please reach out to support@crunchbase.com for further assistance.”
