If you notice a section that appears empty and has no actionable buttons in the edit screen, it's likely that another section needs to be updated & saved first!

Primary Job (on person profiles) - Primary Organizations on Crunchbase reflect a person’s current main role. A profile can only have one Primary Organization at a time. In some cases, an individual may have multiple current roles. The primary organization should reflect what the person is best known for. In order to update this field, you must add a Current Job to the person profile as this is a separate action from adding a Primary Job. You'll need to add job details to the person profile then save that edit first, after doing this the Primary Job section will populate your current job to select. To learn how to update the Primary Job section, click here

Funds Raised (on company & school profiles) - Investment firms typically raise money from many investors, and they use this money (called an “investment fund”) to invest in companies. When these funds are announced, they can be tracked by adding them to this field. Funds can only be added to Investment Firms. If the profile does not have the Investment Firm profile type added, this section will be empty & not editable. To learn how to update the profile type to an investment firm, click here

Featured Employees (on company, school & investment firm profiles) - The Featured Employees on a company profile represent the order that employees appear in the Current Team section. Featured Employees are recommended to be the prominent figures within a company, such as Founders and C-Suite executives. In order to edit this section, you need to have Current Team members already listed in Employees, Board Members, Advisors. For steps on how to add an employee, board member, or advisor, click here! After team members have been added, you can then adjust your featured employees - click here to learn how!

Featured Board Members and Advisors (on company, school & investment firm profiles) - Much like the Featured Employees section, this gives functionality to the order that current board members and advisors appear in the Board Members and Advisors section on a profile. In order to edit this section, you need to have current board members, advisors or observers already listed in the Employees, Board Members, Advisors section. For steps on how to add an employee, board member, or advisor, click here! After team members have been added, you can then adjust your featured board members and advisors - click here to learn how!
