Social Authentication Associated with Another User

As you authenticate your user account with social media, you may receive the message that the social account is already associated with another user.


If so, it’s likely that you already have a Crunchbase user account under a different email address.

You can access your existing account by clicking on the appropriate social media icon and logging in via social.  


Once you’ve accessed your existing account, you can update your email address by clicking on your account in the upper right-hand corner.

If you are unable to login via social media, feel free to send an email to our team at with the following details:

  1. Possible email address(es) you may have used
  2. Email address you want to change it to
  3. Social account used (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, or Google)
