If you're looking to build an advanced search using a list that you created, you can do so by including the list or excluding the list from the search results via the filters section. This also includes contact lists. To learn how to build a contact list, click here

At this time, the 'Include From This List' and 'Exclude From This List' filters are options available for Companies search only.

From the top navigation, click Advanced and select Companies from the drop-down list.

Under the Filters section, scroll to the Lists and Tags group. From there you will see the 'Include From This List' and 'Exclude From This List' filters.

The 'Include From This List' filter will filter for organizations in the list you select. The 'Exclude From This List' filter will exclude organizations in the list you select. Note, the list options in the dropdown will vary depending on which lists you created & named. To learn how to save a list, click here

In this example, I'll include a list to my search by selecting from the 'Include From This List' filter dropdown:

Please keep in mind that you can only select 5 lists at a time.

As you update your filters, you should see your results automatically update.

Since saved searches are dynamic and saved lists are static, save the search you just created to start getting alerts! The search will continue to update while you're gone by adding new profiles that match your search filters. Learn how by clicking here

Add more filters to narrow your search and get targeted results. Below is an example of a search looking for SaaS companies HQ in the United States but excluding organizations in my 'West Coast Companies' list.

This can also be done with a Contacts list, click here to learn more.
