What are Shared Tags?

Shared tags are custom labels that can be added to any organization profile (companies, investors, schools) to help individuals and teams prioritize prospects. You can view and add shared tags on all organization profiles (companies, investors, schools) by selecting the “Add Tag” button under the ‘About’ section.

Once a shared tag is applied, it will be visible to anyone on the team.

To find the organizations associated with any given tag, users can click the tag itself or filter their search using that tag. By grouping accounts with shared tags like “SaaS Accounts” or “Q2 Prospects,” individuals and team members can quickly understand which accounts have already been vetted - and of those -- which are most important.

Looking for a comprehensive list of all your shared tags on your team? Use the top navigation, select Account and click Account Settings from the dropdown list. Once in the account settings screen, use the left navigation to select Shared Tags

Here you can create new tags, edit existing tags by updating the name or deleting them completely. To edit, just click the pencil icon associated with the tag you want to update or remove.

Note, any Crunchbase Pro and Crunchbase Enterprise customer on a team can access this feature within the platform.
