Import Troubleshooting Tips & Tricks

Having trouble with importing your list?

First, please ensure that you have no more than 100 lists in your account, as that is the maximum number of lists permitted per customer. If you have reached this limitation, you can always remove old lists to clear up space.

Next, check that the following requirements are applicable to the file you are uploading: 

  • The format is CSV (.csv)
    • .xls, .numbers, .txt, .html, .docx will not import successfully
  • There are only two columns - name and domain
  • There are fewer than 1,000 rows
  • There is no extra row at the top as a header or title
  • This list contains only companies
  • No special characters are included in the file
    • This includes accents in non-English languages
