Prerequisites
Before connecting, make sure you have:
- A Crunchbase user account
- You can register for an account: https://www.crunchbase.com/register
- An MCP-compatible client, such as: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, or your own AI application.
- A Crunchbase MCP-enabled connection
- You can connect by logging into your Crunchbase account via OAuth ("Log In with Crunchbase") directly from your AI client.
- Basic familiarity with configuring MCP servers in your chosen client

Finding and researching companies
