Where does Crunchbase Scout pull answers from?

Crunchbase Scout’s sources include Crunchbase’s proprietary private company data and intelligence, and the World Wide Web.

“I’m not satisfied with the answer that Crunchbase Scout gave me. What should I do?”

Please use the thumbs down feedback button that appears once the search generates.

“Why can’t I view my Crunchbase Scout message history?”

Only Crunchbase Pro and Business customers have access to their Crunchbase Scout message history, on the left-hand side of the Crunchbase Scout pop-up.

“What data is Crunchbase Scout unable to provide?”

Crunchbase Scout will not be able to provide contact data or data via our partnership with data vendors.

“Why didn’t my Crunchbase Scout search work?”

Please try wording your query differently and try again. If you are still having trouble, please contact our support team at support@crunchbase.com

“What’s the difference between Crunchbase Scout and AI Search Builder?”

Crunchbase Scout pulls answers from multiple sources - Crunchbase’s proprietary private company data and intelligence, and the World Wide Web. In contrast, AI Search Builder interprets your natural language search to pull relevant search filters from within the Crunchbase dataset.

Unlike AI Search Builder, Crunchbase Scout is your trusted research assistant that pulls the information you need, reducing your research time with quick summaries, searches, and the ability to answer follow-up questions.
