On company profiles across Crunchbase, you’ll find a Heat Score and Growth Score listed at the top of the page. These scores help you quickly assess the potential and relevancy of a company, allowing you to decide at-a-glance which companies are worth investigating further.

Use these scores for a holistic view of a company’s momentum and prominence, so you know exactly where to focus your efforts.

Heat Score

The heat score measures the market interest or prominence of a company based on profile activity and presence in the media.

Use this score to focus on highly relevant opportunities based on market signals.

Scores range from 0 - 100. The higher the score, the more likely the company is already attracting attention from investors, partners, and competitors.
