In special cases, our team will lock Crunchbase profiles in order to preserve the data. These profiles are often high-profile companies that receive a lot of traffic or profiles that have previously been spammed.
Crunchbase staff are the only users with the ability to lock a profile. If you’d like your profile locked, please reach out to our team at support@crunchbase.com with:
- A link to your profile
- Reason for locking
- Any inaccuracies that need to be corrected before locking the profile
You can expect to receive a response from our team within 2-3 business days.
While locking a profile will prevent malicious or inaccurate edits, it also limits all edits to the profiles to Crunchbase staff. Once your company profile has been locked, someone with a company email address would need to email support@crunchbase.com in order to make future edits to the profile.
