How to filter only startup firms?

Hi, 
I need a list of startup firms that were operating in any given year from 2012 to 2021. 
I also need to know their sector. So, which type of criteria I can insert considering those aspects. 
Also, what are the criteria CrunchBase uses to include a company as a startup?
