How to find failed companies?

Hi, I've just signed up for the first time and I'm just getting to grips with the search system. Does anyone know an easy way to find failing or failed companies? I'm looking for a CTO and I reckon the best candidates will have already done this journey once and might have some useful experience doing the second time around :o)
