How could I have a more interactive profile?
In my profile, I can only add personal information and a short description, then I have a sort of dashboard telling me I have zero contributions and zero content, but there is nothing telling me how to contribute, post something, etc. I really don't understand at all how this website works, I'm not even sure if it is paid, free and why. Can someone help me and provide a little more context?

As Crunchbase depends on contributions made by our users to keep our data up to date, any registered user can add profiles and edit any of the existing profiles on Crunchbase.
Our data comes from multiple channels — an active Venture Program with 3k+ Venture Partners who provide portfolio data, machine-learning tools and AI (that process funding and acquisition news which our internal analysts add daily), and an active community of contributors who provide data on their own companies. Our team of content analysts constantly moderate and update pages as well.

Note: in order to preserve our data quality and the objective nature of our platform’s data, certain profile fields are unable to be removed by anyone other than Crunchbase staff. For more information on what fields users can update, click here!
