What types of searches can I build using Crunchbase Pro?

On Crunchbase, you can search for 8 different entities. Find templates for popular searches HERE

COMPANIES 

Search for a group of companies that fit a certain criteria, using filters such as Headquarters Location, Number of Employees, Industry, Last Funding Date, and more. 

Example search: Software companies in Chicago that raised funding in the last year.

INVESTORS

Search for information about a group of individual investors or investment firms, filtering by criteria such as Investment Stage, Investor Type, Portfolio Industries, and more. 

Example search: Venture Capital investors that have investments in the software industry.

FUNDING ROUNDS

Search for a specific group of funding rounds using filters such as Announcement Date, Funding Type, Funding Stage, Investor Name, and more.

Example search: Seed rounds announced within the last 2 weeks.

ACQUISITIONS

Search for acquisitions using filters including but not limited to Transaction Name, Announcement Date, and Acquisition Type, as well as through filters about the Acquirer or Acquiree, such as Name, Industry, and Funding Status.  

Example search: Acquisitions of San Francisco-headquartered companies announced a month ago. 

PEOPLE

Search for a group of individuals that match search filters including but not limited to Name, Job Title, School, Current Company, and Founded Companies

Example search: CEOs who graduated from Stanford.

EVENTS

Search for events that have occurred and details about them, using search filters such as Date, Location, Venue Name, Speaker Name, Sponsor Name, and more. 

Example search: FinTech events that occurred in San Francisco in the year 2018. 

SCHOOLS

Search for schools that fit a certain criteria, using filters including School Type, Name,  and Location, as well as Alumni Name, and more.  

Example search: Schools in California with 50 or more alumni who are company founders. 

HUBS

Search Crunchbase for ‘Hubs’ - pages that automatically group and list similar companies together based on the hub page’s criteria and the information listed on an organization’s profile. Learn more about hubs HERE

Example search: Groups of FinTech organizations.
