Ideal Target Search

Ideal target searches simplify the discovery process by filling your pipeline with new companies based on existing closed-won opportunities in your CRM; now you can see which search filters match characteristics of accounts you’ve won in the past! *This feature is available to CRM-connected Crunchbase Business customers. 

You can find your ideal target searches at the top of your Crunchbase homepage activity feed:

They will refresh on a weekly basis, and are modeled to update whenever a new 'Closed-Won' opportunity is registered in your CRM. Keep in mind that not every individual update will necessarily yield different searches - we recommend consistently updating your CRM for the most up-to-date results!

Not seeing your ideal target searches? Check out these tips:

  1. Make sure you’re a Crunchbase Business customer.
  2. Check that you’re connected to your CRM in Account Settings
  3. It’s possible that a reliable pattern hasn't yet been identified in your CRM activity. Please continue updating your CRM, as the feature is always analyzing your data for patterns. Once a reliable pattern is detected, you will see the updated ideal target recommendations.
