How do I add a LGBTQ+ led and/or founded tag to my company profile?

Due to the sensitive nature of this initiative, we have implemented additional processes to protect the safety and privacy of LGBTQ+ individuals in our Diversity Spotlight, including, but not limited to:

1. • Collaborating with LGBTQ+ advocacy groups like StartOut, Out Leadership, Out in Tech, and The Out Entrepreneur.
   • Implementing an opt-in and verification process so that only those who have explicitly given their written consent will have their information included in the program. 
   • Controlled editing rights so that only verified contributors for a company can modify Diversity Spotlight tags, and only Crunchbase can add/modify the LGBTQ+ tags. 
   • Adhering to privacy, consent, and data protection regulations.

As such, contributors will not be able to add an LGBTQ+ tag to their organization profile on Crunchbase. Instead, we accept requests to add a LGBTQ+ tag to company profiles by verified employees of the organization as well as verified leaders/founders. Please follow the steps below based on which category your role falls under:

Organization employee:

1. 1. You may request an LGBTQ+ led and founded tag on behalf of the leader and/or founder of your organization through this intake form.
   2. Once you submit the form, you will receive an automated response detailing the next steps. 
   3. Our Crunchbase support team will then follow up with the founder/leader with additional requests for individual verification.
   4. Once verified and approved, we will add the new tags to your organization’s profile and you will receive an email notifying you of the update.

Organization leader/founder:

1. 1. You can request a LGBTQ+ led and founded tag through this intake form. 
   2. Once you submit the form, you will receive an automated response detailing the next steps. 
   3. Our Crunchbase support team will then follow up with additional requests for individual verification.
   4. Once verified and approved, we will add the new tags to your organization’s profile and you will receive an email notifying you of the update.
