Making the Most of Recommendations

To help you qualify recommendations, Crunchbase provides signals called growth pills. Growth pills are the small pink labels that you’ll see on your recommendations page; they will help you prioritize the right companies based on recent funding, whether they’re trending, and if they’re new to you!

Note that the Ideal Target growth pills will only generate once you’ve connected to your CRM.

To receive “Ideal Target” recommendations, you need to establish a connection with your CRM. Once connected, the model automatically analyzes your "closed-won opportunities" list to evaluate the characteristics of your company. If any recommendations match the characteristics of companies in your closed-won CRM list, a pill will appear automatically.

UPDATE as of January 2024

We’ve added a “View Report” button located in the top right corner of your Recommendations page:

Select View Report to find trends on “total funding raised”, “employee breakdown”, and “revenue breakdown” based on your liked list of recommendations!
