Crunchbase’s recommended companies help you prospect faster by automating account discovery and qualification.

Each time you engage with Recommended Companies, you’ll get even more tailored recommendations! This machine learning-based model integrates multiple factors including:

  • Your activity in Crunchbase, including companies that you’ve viewed or saved to custom lists.
  • Your 'Territory Preferences', including company location (headquarters), company size (number of employees), and industry.

Engage with Recommended Companies by clicking company names to view the profile or dismissing irrelevant ones, and new recommendations will appear!

If you're viewing from a profile page and you're interested in quickly learning about one of the companies, hover over the company name for a quick summary.

You can refine your recommendations by inputting territory preferences based on your ICP criteria (company size, headquarters location, industry). To learn more about this, click here!

Note, if you encounter an ‘error state’ of no additional recommendations, we suggest you update your territory preferences (from the top right side of the recommendations page) to expand the criteria and show additional recommendations.

Keep in mind, Crunchbase Pro and Enterprise users can expect a maximum of 70 recommendations per week - you can view your entire list if you'd like!

Free and Crunchbase Starter users will have access to 10 recommendations per week. To learn more about our products, click here
