Let’s say we are in the GreenTech space and we want to gauge how our web traffic stands compared to top players in the industry.
- Click on Companies in the left hand navigation
- Click Add Companies Filter
- Click Categories → Categories
- Type in “GreenTech” and select the GreenTech option from the dropdown menu
- Next, add another filter by clicking the + icon
- Click SimilarWeb
- Click Monthly Visits to see the total (non-unique) visits to the site in the last month (both desktop and mobile web).
- For this case, we are going to enter greater than 10,000
- Click Search
We have just generated a list of the top 59 GreenTech companies in terms of web traffic. All of these companies get over 10,000 monthly visits, and we can now see the top players in the space.
We can tailor this search even further by adding filters like Headquarters Location to limit companies to a geographic area, or by adding more Category filters to see more niche industries. All you need is Crunchbase Pro to dig deeper.
How do I see SimilarWeb statistics in my search results?
To see SimilarWeb statistics across your search results, start by clicking Columns.
Using the search example above, we will add Monthly Visits, Bounce Rate, and Visit Duration Growth to get a more comprehensive view across our industry analysis.
By adding these SimilarWeb columns, we can analyze web engagement across the top 59 GreenTech companies in one single view.
Note: Traffic is pulled from the company or organization’s external website. For example, if you are viewing Tesla’s monthly visits, those visits are attributed to the www.tesla.com website, not their Crunchbase profile visits.
